Pastors Stan and Connie Friend, together with their three children accepted the invitation to become lead pastors at Capital Christian Center and moved to Carson City, Nevada in the spring of 2000. Since that time the church has grown substantially and continues to experience the blessings of God.

Pastor Stan holds many degrees in higher education including an earned doctorate from Fuller Theological Seminary. He has served as an educator, A U.S. Navy active duty Chaplain, an author (A Reflection Of Faith) and as our lead pastor. He is a gifted leader, teacher and passionate follower of Jesus Christ and is compelled to reach the unchurched.
